The Elm City Girls' Choir Community
Siblings and Ages of Said Siblings: 2 sisters, ages twelve and fifteen
Were/are any of them in choir? awww I wish. That would be so cute. But they're athletes, not artists. Plus I would fight with one wayyyy too much.
How many years have you been in choir, and in which ones? 6th year. Been in the original UGC, UGC Milford/Allegra, and Advanced Academy
Are you currently/have you ever been a TA? for which UGC? I was invited tobe a UGC TA this year, but I couldn't work it in to my schedule.
Are you/have you ever been a student conductor? no
section leader? nope.
lead chorister? nope.
What part do you sing/have sung in past years? We didn't have official parts in UGC, but I was Sop. 2 my first year in ECGC, got moved to Sop. 1 the next year, and got put back on Sop. 2 this year, much to my dismay. But I'm over it now and see the merrits of being a soprano 2.
What's your favorite song we've done this year thus far? Um.... we really haven't done too much yet, it feels like. I enjoyed Candelight Carol and Tomorow Shall Be My Dancing Day a lot.
What's your favorite choir song EVER? Well I love all the belty ones... and I love Yesturday... yeah.
What's your favorite non-choir song? God, who could choose? Probably a song from Wicked or by my favorite broadway composer, Jason Robert Brown, or by my favorite band, Something Corporate/Jack's Mannequin or "Taylor the Latte Boy," or lots of other musical theater stuff, I told you I can't choose!!!
What's your favorite thing about choir? The people, the experiences, the quality of the music, the ablility to reach a good unison in varying levels of perfection... it's just good stuff.
